Public Charging - My J1772 Inlet

In December, I wrote an article about converting the gas filler to a charging inlet. This is great for my home charging needs. But recently I found some places to charge at public charging stations such as ChargePoint or Blink. Those stations required a J1772 inlet and circuit. Here is what I did to add that capability to my car.

Heater box conversion

Now that the car is running, I have some odds and ends projects left to finish. This blog shows how I modified the gas filler to a charging inlet port. Because the Spitfire has the filler on the top of the car, I had to ensure that it is protected from the elements but still retains the stock look.
